These visas are for people who have an Australian employer willing to sponsor them. The employer's nomination must be approved, and the job must meet government requirements.
The main types
- Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482). A temporary visa to work for a sponsoring employer.
- Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186). A permanent visa for workers nominated by their employer.
Who this is for: workers who already have an employer, and employers who want to sponsor someone.
What to have ready: the job offer or contract, your qualifications and work history, and the employer's business details.
